Let’s hope new KFC pizza in UK never comes to US

KFC pizza from Pizza Hut

Go to Twitter, search for UK pizza and you’ll see the most disgusting images of all time.

Folks are tweeting about the KFC Popcorn Chicken Pizza, available from Pizza Hut but only in the United Kingdom.

The pizza is smothered in KFC gravy and sprinkled with mozzarella and sweetcorn.  Popcorn chicken is the featured topping.

The price is £20 and the pizza will be available for a limited time, which is Feb. 3 to Feb. 16, at Pizza Hut Deliveries in the UK.

It’s good to know the pizza will be gone after two weeks.

Starting Feb. 17, I bet a lot of stomachs will be pumped at emergency rooms in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to relieve patients of gastric pain, acid indigestion, heartburn, bloating or and abdominal distension.

I wrote that sentence before I saw this tweet from KFC UK & Ireland: “The Colonel never jokes about matters of the stomach. Ever.”

Let’s hope this abomination of gluttony never comes to the United States because it probably tastes worse than the funk of Limburger lutefisk.
